Shapes and pieces packs for your projects

Hello Papercrafters,

It's that time of year when all the kids are back in school and with the holidays just around the corner, that makes it a great time to get started on your holiday projects, ie cards, tags, favors, treat bags, etc. The next few months go by so fast that crafting ahead of time makes for a less stressful and more enjoyable holiday.

With that in mind I have started designing and creating different types of holiday inspired kits and shapes packs.  My kits are for completing the entire project you just supply the adhesives, and my shape packs are made with punch or die cut shapes, ready to open and use on your creations.....my kits are fabulous for when you love to craft but don't have the time or tools to design them.

New in my shop this week are some shapes packs, they have 60 to 70 pieces in each pack in holiday colors....the assortments include labels, scallop shapes and mini shapes.

This is my label shapes pack, you get 5 of each stack shown above, they could be used on greeting cards, gift tags, favors and more, if you love the shapes but prefer different colors email me at: info@tamaralynnart.com  include your color preference and I can create a custom order for you.

Above is my Mini punched shapes kit, each stack has 5 of each for a total of 60....

Here is my scallop shapes kit, you also receive 5 of each stack for a total of 60 pieces....
Any of the kit shape packs can be swapped out for a different color group.

For all the details and buy buttons visit my shop:  www.tamaralynnart.com/kitcart.htm
For custom orders or questions email me at: info@tamaralynnart.com

Family Art Piece Kit

FAMILY Art Piece Kit

Hello Papercrafters,

I have been somewhat absent from my blog posting but it's because I just finished spending most of my time keeping my girls entertained while on summer break, lol, however during that time I did manage to squeeze in some crafting.
I have been creating kits for making tags, cards, and favors, plus I designed and created a kit for an art piece I call FAMILY Art.  It's made to fit into a 11"x14" frame, note I do not include the frame or adhesives,  the kit does include everything else you need to completed the piece, it resembles quilt blocks and this version is done in Fall/ Autumn colors, for those of you who prefer a Wintery/ Holiday version, I have one in the design stages right now and will be releasing  it in October.
Here are a couple photos to help you visulize
This is how the project looks when completed and in a frame, I found an inexpensive frame at Walmart that I used for this piece, as you can see there are 12 squares, each is layered with pattern paper and all are accented with lace die cut pieces, as well as tags, letters, brads and rhinestones.
The above photo shows all the many pieces you will receive to complete this fabulous paper art piece.
The kit sells for $23.00plus $3.00shipping, once your transaction if complete I will send you a pdf with photos and detailed instructions for completing the kit.

To see this kit and others I have available visit my shop-I also have packs of punch and die cut shapes for you to use on your own projects.

Valentine Target Treat Topper

Hello Papercrafters,

I have a fun and easy to create treat bag topper to share for your special Valentine, I am including  pictorial instructions so you can create your own.  These would be great gift for co-workers, kids class parties, and for all the special people in your life. In my sample I had to use chocolate chips for the treat, it was all I had on hand, but with the cello bags you can put in any kind of treat you prefer.

They look like a cool little Valentine target, I used sizzix dies for all the shapes the hearts and arrow pieces were from sets I got at SU the others from Joann's....Here's what you need to get started...........

I used 1 scallop circle, ( I used 3 up from the smallest) 2 scallop hearts, 2 banner pieces, 1 arrow piece and a sentiment for the front and the back.
Attach 1 scallop heart to the center of the circle, then angle the banner pieces and the arrow then attach to the back side of the circle....
After you piece together the front, add the sentiment, then add sticky strip and attach to your treat bag, then add sticky strip to the other heart with the back sentiment and attach to the treat bag covering the ends of the arrow and banner pieces.

Here is sample of them using various dsp and sentiments. Have fun creating your own!
Happy Valentines Day!

Beginning soon, papercraftsbytamara, that's me, will be offering kits for making cards, favors and treat toppers....check back for more details and a link to my site!

Have a wonderful day,
Tamara

Journal Page Believe

Hello Papercrafters,

I see that it has been several months since I have made a post, I apologize but I have completely changed the direction of my creativity.......after much soul searching I decided to go back to painting, the art medium that I love the most.  I had painted only occasionally for several years while my girls were young, , then started painting all the time back in April after my last post, I have several completed canvases. I'm starting another blog for my paintings soon.
I am taking a mixed media class to learn some new techniques and to learn how to use new materials, this week happens to be somewhat papercraft related so I thought I would post it and share.
This was created on a heavy watercolor paper, I used acrylic paints thinned down to paint the background of sky and mountains and the light green and stone path in the foreground.  The fence posts are embossed with a wood grain folder, then popped up, the flowers were stamped then I carefully cut them out then hand painted each one, some were popped up.  The trees in the mid ground were stamped with acrylic paint, I penciled in the quote, then painted the letters, the word 'believe' was stamped with stazon.
I finished by accenting the edges using acrylic paint, stencils and my fingers, it creates a frame around the work.
My plan is to frame this and give it for a Christmas gift.
The size is 11" x 15".
I hope this inspires you to create a journal page, the materials can be swapped with whatever you have on hand, give it a try and have fun!

Here's a painting I did and submitted at Talenthouse to try and get a cover for the musical group The Pierces, they are from the UK, but alas I did not win, I do have this awesome work of art though.
They had a video of one of their songs to use for the inspiration of the work, this is my interpretation. It was done with acrylic paints on stretched canvas.
Thank you for stopping by, I will be adding paper crafted works occasionally in the future and I will have a separate site for my paintings, I will share more details soon.
Have a wonderful day!

Retro Fresh Framed Happy Greeting

Hello Papercrafters,

Happy Wednesday!  I'm sorry I've been rather absent lately but I have been drowning in paperwork, lol, getting my mil paperwork ready for the accountant.........I used to not mind doing it but now it has been become something I dread, I don't like crunching numbers I like making cards, lol.  Anyway over the weekend I did take a bit of time to use some of my new goodies to create a card.....finally got the photos' edited and ready for the post.

I used the new 'on film' framelits dies and the new retro fresh dsp.....don't you love all the arrows.....here's the front...

I also used the stamp set 'peachy keen' and one of my 'free' sab stamps from the 'see ya later' set......4 great stamps in this set....hope you were able to get one of your own :)..............

I added a little accent to the inside so it wouldn't be so plain....

Well actually just some dsp for the sentiment to sit on, looked much better than just the sentiment on the inside.

I love the colors in this dsp set......I've gotten a thing for orange and shades of orange here lately, not sure what's up with that, lol, orange is not usually a color I go for.....sometimes change is good.

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

So very grateful Tagged Greeting

Hello Papercrafters,

Happy Tuesday!  Things have been so busy lately with spring and school sports, all 3 of my daughters are involved- 2 are playing softball and the other is on the track team, I have turned into the taxi service......I don't mind so much although it can be hard to get anything accomplished.......however I do like watching them play it's enjoyable and relaxing, plus I get out of the house for awhile.   Going to watch an evening game tomorrow, I like those, except it's still a bit chilly, will probably need to take a blanket to cover up with.

Today I have another card using the 'so very grateful' set, I sort of did some casing of a tag in the occasions catalog but then decided to add the tag to a card front....I really love the way it turned out....the flowers in this set are so pretty, love it!  ...........here's the front...

I had to do a little extra stamping and fussy cutting to add the extra flowers and leaves,  to shade the flowers I used my blender pen and SU ink and markers.

On the inside I simply stamped a sentiment, then stamped, cut, and painted a flower to add to the corner.

 For my supplies I used:

strawberry slush cs
fresh prints dsp stack
So very grateful stamp set
1/8"  rose regal ribbon
blender pens, markers and ink

Many thanks for stopping by, I hope my card inspired you to create one of your own!

Have a great day!
