Hello Papercrafters,

It seems like this weekend flew by, one of my daughters had a basketball game on Saturday afterward we went out to lunch and did a little shopping........but she had woke up with a sore throat and stuffy nose and it just keeps getting worse :(  not sure if she will make it to school tomorrow.  I found out last night that I will be the Maid of honor in my cousins wedding!!! oh how fun can't wait......but I'm also the invitation/ favor/ centerpiece maker, lol.....and she wants me to make the cake too, wow, think I'm going to need help.  That's what happens when your the Martha Stewart of the family, lol......actually I'm more the frugal Martha, but I just love all types of crafting and creating.

I have a card I created because of a color challenge, I actually did 2 cards but I submitted the other one so this card was never shared, so I thought I would share it with you today!

Enough about me.....I'm excited to announce the winner of my Blog Candy.....many thanks to everyone who took the time to visit my blog and for all the wonderful comments and if you became a follower thank you I am flattered,  I love sharing my creations and I hope I inspire you to get creative!

The winner is:   Kathy!!!   She said "I love both but that purse card is adorable! Thanks for sharing."  Well lucky you Kathy the purse card is yours!!!   Thank you so much for your comments!

I have your email and will be sending a message to you!

Thanks again for stopping by,  Have a wonderful day!

GQ Salebration Hop- Day 4

 SAB 2013-001.jpg
Hello Papercrafters,
Welcome back to our hop, it's already Day 4, these hops always go by so fast, but there will be more, we all love sharing our creativity with you and we love hearing your comments!

Today I have 2 projects to share........more Valentines but fret not, these designs/ layouts would work with other dsp and occasions.
My first card is a simple design, I really love the large heart that comes with the Hearts a Flutter set, you can either layer one of the other hearts in the set in the center of it or use the space for the sentiment as I did in this greeting.

For my second card I decided to revamp the purse card I created a couple years ago, I thought the banner piece in the hearts a flutter set looked like the leather styling you see on purses, of course I added lots of bling to make it look like the flashy rhinestone purses you see everywhere, isn't it cute :) I'm going to have to make more of these, plus their fun to create.
On the inside I made a banner and added some stamped images, the blank heart it for the giver to sign their name.
And the back of the card......

Thanks so much for stopping by and for your wonderful comments and to reward you I am giving for my Blog Candy the 2 cards I created for todays post!  More comments mean more chances to win!

Glitter Queens Blog Hop Day Three

 Hello Papercrafters, https://mail-attachment.googleusercontent.com/attachment/u/0/?ui=2&ik=5927fc1443&view=att&th=13c5cf07beb6da79&attid=0.2&disp=inline&safe=1&zw&saduie=AG9B_P-aSokY3OaSsOymRpZqxHe8&sadet=1359010325258&sads=dRxkp5G1IUtVEwCKuFGsvLh4AME&sadssc=1
Welcome back to our Hop, I'm so glad your back to join us again today, it's already Day Three oh my......it goes by fast when your having so much fun!  Today I have some Valentine cello bag toppers, I used our 1" x 12" cello bags and created a couple different styles of toppers.  For one using the large scallop circle punch, I punched out 2 dsp circles, then decorated them with some stamped hearts and a sentiment, on the back more stamping and a to/from label.

For the second favor I started with a framelits die and cardstock,

then I scored almost to the middle,  folded on the score line then added stamped images and a sentiment.  These favors are quick and easy to do an in fact these were designed for a mother/daughter class I have next week,  her daughters will be creating these for their class at school for their Valentines Day parties.   We used these bags to create Halloween treats a few months ago and they were very popular with their classes.
This photo shows how I did the front and back of each one, although for the class we will be adding a from/label to them both.

I also have a greeting card to share today.......ok once I got started with that smooch spray I just couldn't stop, lol, and I made another card using it.

I started with a pink card stock base then smooch sprayed it with some masked butterflies.  I used our beautiful wings embosslits die, there are 5 different sized butterflies on it from large to small.  I also used the little leaves sizzlets die and the sentiment is from the SAB set 'Vintage Verses'........

the inside is stamped with There's only one you. I love the results and every time I use the wings embosslits die I love it more!

Thank you for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments I love hearing them, thank you!  Don't forget follow me and comment everyday for more chances to win my Blog candy!

Have a wonderful day!

Glitter Queens Blog Hop Day Two-Vintage Valentine

Hello Papercrafters,SAB 2013-001.jpg
Welcome to Day Two of our Blog Hop!  I hope your enjoying the everyone's creativity as much as I am, I'm so inspired and have lots of new items now added to my wish list, lol, I'm so glad it's SAB, it's a great time to stock up on supplies!  and who doesn't love getting free stuff  :)

Today I have a couple of Valentines I created with a very vanilla card stock base....I was trying to achieve a more vintage look to them.  For my first card I first lightly spritzed the front base with some smooch spray, then I added a layer of dsp.  I created the banner using the new stamp set in our Spring Mini and the coordinating die's Hearts a Flutter.....those banner shapes are going to work well with so many other holidays and occasions, the possibilities are endless, I think I'm going to be using this set a lot.

I attached the banner shapes to twine and added some bling. On the inside I stamped a couple of hearts from the set.

For my second card I first took some dsp, it was vanilla with some design and journaling lines,  did some masking with some hearts I cut out,  spritzed the layer with the same smooch spray (you can see the spray has a little shimmer in the photo) only I did a heavier layer so that the heart shapes would show up well, once dry I added it to a red cs base.

The other images were stamped, but out and attached with dimensionals.  The inside is stamped with Happy Valentines Day.

I really love the way this technique turned out and I will be using it again......in fact I created a card with that technique today that I will be sharing later in the hop,  so tune in again :-) Thanks for stopping by........

Don't forget to follow me and comment to have a chance to win Blog Candy!!!

Enjoy the rest of your journey.......now on to Cely's Blog's SAB 2013_Next-001.jpg

Glitter Queens Blog Hop-Valentines

https://mail-attachment.googleusercontent.com/attachment/u/0/?ui=2&ik=5927fc1443&view=att&th=13c5cf07beb6da79&attid=0.2&disp=inline&safe=1&zw&saduie=AG9B_P-aSokY3OaSsOymRpZqxHe8&sadet=1358839066531&sads=Sldd60JQGeplLjSxeuWXAaQsAJo&sadssc=1

Hello Papercrafters,

Welcome to the Glitter Queens Blog Hop! I'm so happy you have taken the time to hop along with us.....grab a cup of coffee and enjoy, be sure to stop by all week we will have lots of new goodies to share!

Lately I've been doing alot of Valentine cards and favors so I thought I would share some of the new designs I have recently created.  When creating for Valentine's Day I usually reach for pink or red, but I wanted to try something new so I made a blue valentine, well not totally blue, but mostly, the dsp is actually from our holiday mini (meant for Christmas) but I thought the blue with red worked well for this greeting....the inside is stamped with Happy Valentines Day! using the Wacky Wishes Set.

It's hard to see in the photo but I used dazzling diamonds on the blue hearts then attached with dimensionals,  I die cut the paper doily and attached it on the side wrapping the rest around the back.

I have another card to share today, when I created this card I wanted to do something simple that was fast and easy to create, so I began with a whisper white base and let some simple stamping and and a wrapping of twine make, in my humble opinion, lol, an awesome Valentine greeting

.....on the inside I stamped some hearts from the new Hearts a flutter set in the Spring mini.....I will have another greeting using this set along with the matching die set, love it :)
