Hello Papercrafters,

Welcome to the Glitter Queens Blog Hop! I'm so happy you have taken the time to hop along with us.....grab a cup of coffee and enjoy, be sure to stop by all week we will have lots of new goodies to share!

Lately I've been doing alot of Valentine cards and favors so I thought I would share some of the new designs I have recently created.  When creating for Valentine's Day I usually reach for pink or red, but I wanted to try something new so I made a blue valentine, well not totally blue, but mostly, the dsp is actually from our holiday mini (meant for Christmas) but I thought the blue with red worked well for this greeting....the inside is stamped with Happy Valentines Day! using the Wacky Wishes Set.

It's hard to see in the photo but I used dazzling diamonds on the blue hearts then attached with dimensionals,  I die cut the paper doily and attached it on the side wrapping the rest around the back.

I have another card to share today, when I created this card I wanted to do something simple that was fast and easy to create, so I began with a whisper white base and let some simple stamping and and a wrapping of twine make, in my humble opinion, lol, an awesome Valentine greeting

.....on the inside I stamped some hearts from the new Hearts a flutter set in the Spring mini.....I will have another greeting using this set along with the matching die set, love it :)

*Note although it looks like the card stock has a pink tinge, it doesn't, it was late afternoon and I just couldn't get the lighting right*

  1. Cute cards, Tami! I love the non-traditional color combo for the Valentine's Day card. My favorite is the second one! It is sweet inside and out! Love the sentiment!!! I look forward to seeing your new creations tomorrow!

  2. Two great cards. The twine adds a fun touch to the second card.

  3. I love simple cards. I like that we can make a simple card look so special when we just add ribbon, twine or buttons.

  4. I love the lacy doily - it looks like you cut it from patterned paper that coordinates or (matches?)the blue with red dots.
