Day 3 Glitter Queen's Blog Hop!

It's already Day 3 of our Glitter Queens Blog Hop and I am so inspired by all the talented Queens!, I do hope we have all inspired you as well with the versitility of the wonderful products from Stampin'Up! You should have arrived from Candice's Blog don't you love her adorable baby shower card, too cute!

I have to admit I didn't realize when I signed up for this hop that I would be showcasing a new project each day, but I quickly found out from one of the other queen's post, silly me, anyway I've been in a bit of a frenzy to create more 'hop' worthy projects and as a result my craft room is quite the diaster, lol. Looks like I'll spend next week re-organizing.....but enough of that.....

I really love the card I have to share with you today, even though I am featuring the Spooky Bingo Bits set, I combined the Pennant Parade with it to create a cute spooky banner for the front of my card, I used the 1/8 inch taffeta ribbon to hang it from. I love it, for the moment it's my favorite, lol. Now I can't wait to play more with the Pennant Parade set, fun awaits!

Day 2 Glitter Queens Blog Hop!

Many Thanks to you all for the wonderful comments! It's so inspiring when others love my projects as much as I do :)......Be sure to check back on Monday the 12th, I'll be announcing the Blog Candy Winner!

Wow, I had so much fun hopping around to everyone's blog, there are so many fabulous creations and they are so inspiring, my wish list is growing, lol, I hope you enjoyed day 1 as much as I did.....now on to day 2.....

For today's post I decided to create a Spooky Greeting Card, I'm featuring the Spooky Bingo Bits Stamp Set and the DSP Frightful Sight. I created a gate fold card and used the Spider Web embossing folder on one side, I love this embossing folder, and the DSP on the other. I trimmed it just right to get those spiders dangling down on the side. The trio of spiders and the eeek sign are from the bingo bits set. On the inside I added a layer of the DSP and have a 'spooky' sign being hung by a couple of glittery bats.

I hope you like my project for today, keep those comments coming for more chances to win my blog candy. Be sure to hop on by tomorrow, I have another greeting card to share with you! Now on to Cely Havens Blog
Happy Stamping!

Glitter Queens 2011 Blog Hop!

Hello, I'm Tamara, I'm so glad you stopped by for a visit, this is my first blog hop, well that is the first blog hop that I have participated in as a designer, I'm very happy and excited to share my creations with you! I hope you've been enjoying the fabulous goodies that all the ladies have created. You should have just arrived from
Candice's blog, her lovely creations are so inspiring now I know I'm going to have to get the Printed Petals Set.....
I chose to use the Spooky Bingo Bits Stamp Set and the DSP Frightful Sight, from the New Idea Book & Catalog. I have 3 young daughters and was inspired by them to create some treat goodies, we plan on recreating enough for their Halloween Class parties. *(To see a close up just click on the photo, then hit the back button to return to this page)

First of all I created the cupcake toppers, I used the scallop trim border punch around the edge of the accordian folded piece on the smaller toppers and I used pinking shears to cut around the edge of the larger topper. I love the way this step enhances the final product. Then I created a couple 'sour cream' treat containers, there was a tutorial in Stampin Success, I couldn't resist trying it out. The results are a simple, quick, fantastic, treat container, I will be making more of these for Halloween and Christmas too!

Since I was having so much fun I decided to make some toppers for the new cellophane bags in the holiday mini, I love these bags, you have so many options for the type of treat to put inside, plus they turn out so cute, my girls and I are going to make a bunch of these!

The Spooky Bingo Bits set is so versatile, it also makes up a fun, spooky, bingo game, which would be great to play at your Halloween party or to create a set for a Best Costume Gift. I also made up some spooky lollipop covers, 6 of them along with 6 Decorated cello bags are what I have for some yummy blog candy, there all ready to give to your favorite spooky guests.

Hopefully you arrived at my blog from after visiting with Candice Crawford. Next on the hop is Cely Havens. Be sure and visit all of the Glitter Queens on this weeks hop for more project ideas and chances to win BLOG CANDY! Just in case you missed someone along the way, links to the all of the Glitter Queen blog hoppers can be found below in order from beginning to end. Don't forget to leave a comment at the end of this post if you liked my project and I'll put you in the drawing for my blog candy! Thanks for stopping by and happy hopping!!! Snow Fun

I was playing around with the new stamp set, Snow much fun, from the new Idea Book and with my new DSP, Letters to Santa. I love this set!, the snowmen are so cute and it has a fabulous Christmas tree with a cute little bird on top, fun :D Any way I created this fun card....don't you just love the little bird walking on top of the big snowball. I used some of the large clear glitter for on the snowman and the snowball and I used SU markers to color in the images. I used a die to make the snowflakes then added some bling to the centers. It's bright and cheery and sure to put a smile on anyone's face.

Summer Vacation

I've spent many hot, sunny afternoons cooling off in the pool, while dreaming of the ocean. That's why I love the 'Summer Splash' stamp set #123037 in our Summer Mini. Sea shells, surfboards, fish, and a pail.....all bring a smile to your face as you can almost hear the waves crashing. Great for a friend or just to say hello, the inside is stamped with the sentiment; Live Life, Love Life, from the Your a Gem set #122270

I love the new stamp set Aviary, it's one of the new sets in SU's new Idea Book, and it's so fun to work with. I created this birthday greeting featuring the aviary set, I also added lots of bling, rhinestones and pearls. The results, simple, elegant and fun. Enjoy!
