Cupcake Toppers are Wicked Cool

They are wicked cool because I used SU's Wicked Cool set from the New Idea Book & Catalog. These toppers are such a hit at parties for all ages, they are easy and fun to create, punches make them a breeze to cut out :D This is a set of 12, I used the witches hat and shoes images from the set and made tags using the spooky image. A little card stock, designer card stock and some black organza ribbon and Abbracadabra you have Spooky Cupcake Toppers.
For this project I used these Stampin'Up! products:
Wicked Cool #120600 (I have the clear set)
Wicked Fun # 117400 Designer Card stock
The lollipop sticks are available at your local craft store.
Have a Spooktacular Happy Halloween!!!

Friends are Flowers

This card is simple and easy to create, with stunning results. Okay, that's in my humble opinion, lol. Seriously I love pinks and greens together and I love the stamp set I used from the New Idea Book & Catalog; Friends Never Fade #118750. I used a retired designer card stock, just because I love the swirls, sorry, and a satin ribbon in Certainly Celery #117288. I stamped the image twice then cut out the flower and colored using watercolor markers and a paintbrush, then I added a touch of glitter to the edges of the petals for a little extra dazzle. Enjoy.

I'm loving the new Vintage Paper & Stamps!

I really love the vintage quality the DCS Deck the Halls has in the Holiday Mini, it reminds me of my childhood and the holiday season. I created this card using some of the smooch spritz and pearls both in the 2010-2011 Idea Book & Catalog and the stamp set Bells & Boughs in the mini. I believe the vanilla ribbon is retired but you could get the same effect with any ribbon of the same width. This was very fast and easy to achieve, the designer card stock did all the work, I spritzed the vanilla card stock before layering it with the dcs and the ribbon edging, but I love the results it's one of my favorites with this set.
My supply List:
Deck the Halls #120810
Bells & Boughs # 121142 clear
Log Cabin Smooch Spritz# 119921
Basic Pearls#119247
Very Vanilla CS #101650
Extra Large Punch #120907

Mis Quince in Rose and Saffron

Here is the sample I created using the colors and changes you requested. The yellow and rose look so pretty together, I used lots of pearls to dress it up. The vellum tag with her name will be computer generated then printed, cut, and attached to the card, (for the sample I printed the name by hand) Let me know what you think...ttys Tamara

Gift Card Holders for the Holidays

Gift Cards have fast become a favorite especially at the holidays. It makes gifting easy for even the hardest to shop for recipients, teens, parents, grandparents. So I created some attractive, fun, Gift Card Holders just in time for the holidays. I actually based it on the Mini candy holder that I cased from my upline Dawn Griffith, thank you Dawn!, although I changed it up a bit. I changed the direction and just increased the size of the slot to fit a gift card perfectly, their very cute, they look like mini purses.
I used the Tree Trimmings Stamp Set #116722 and Tiny Tags Stamp Set #118592, and Many Merry Messages Stamp Set # 116586, and the Berry Christmas~ sorry that set was from last years mini, but I still love that set :)
These items are for sale at my shop
or you could book a workshop where I'll demonstrate and show you and your guest how to make your own!

Springtime Cards

I've been busy creating springtime cards, for Easter, Mothers Day and birthdays. Although alot of the country is experiencing winter weather here in central California spring has sprung. The almond trees have been blooming, bee's are buzzing around, and flowers are in bloom everywhere. Here is a card I designed and created in two different colors, I love the way they both turned out, very happy, very springtime.

New Vintage Designs

I just love the new vintage stamps now available in Stampin'Up!'s new springtime occasions catalog! The set called Vintage Vogue comes with 8 stamps and is now available in wood mount or clear! The Very Vintage jumbo roller is the perfect compliment to the vintage set. I created this card using the vintage roller and our new scallop trim border punch; (you can get this punch free with any $50. purchase through March 31st) I also used our new Sweet Pea Stitched Felt set, they are such a lovely addition. The Happy Birthday stamp is from our new Well Scripted stamp set also in the new Occasions mini.
I think this card turned out beautifully, if you would like to learn how to create this design contact me and schedule a workshop!

Hearts Afire

Here is another version of my heart trio valentines. You get a different look every time depending on what type of DSP you use or what stamped heart combination you chose. Tomorrow I will share the card I used for my valentine swap, which by the way I just received back, and what cute cards I received! Swaps are such a great way to visualize other layouts and other styles.
It was a beautiful weekend here in central California, we had blue skies, sunshine and temps in the high 50's, so I spent a good deal of time working out in the yard. It felt great but I am tired in a good way. Until tomorrow......

Valentine Hearts Abound

I was hesitant about ordering Stampin'Up!'s new clear stamps, not because of the quality of their products but because I've got other clear stamps that just do not have the printing quality of the wood mount stamps that I desire. But knowing the quality of Stampin'Up! products I decided to try a set and I love them! Same great printing quality of wood mount with the convenience of the clear mounts and the ability to see placement. The clear set I ordered was the 'I (heart hearts)', which I used for this card layout along with the 'Love you much' set.
There are more stamps I would like to order from the new Occasions and I will be ordering the clear sets.....they are priced lower and they will take up less space and they print great!

Valentine's Day is just around the corner!

Valentine's Day will soon be here and I have several card designs I've been working on, plus I've been making a cute pencil topper/decor for my daughters class parties. I just recently participated in a swap with the Glitter Queens group I belong to, can't wait to see all the awesome cards the other ladies made. Here's a pic of one of my cards, I'll post a new one tomorrow!
