Mini Envelope and Candy Favor Video Tutorials
Hello Papercrafters,
Welcome to my Blog, our Glitter Queens hop is over but just as I promised I have some video tutorials to share that show for some reason the cone video didn't upload right so I will try to fix that and get it posted over the weekend. My apologies, my oldest daughter had a dental appointment this afternoon and I just didn't have enough time to figure out the problem. However I did manage to get the mini envelope and the favor everyone liked the most, the mini hershey candy bar favor video's done!!!
At first I tried to put them all on one but it was running too long and without a helper it's hard to keep it all organized, so I made a separate video for each, I am new to how-to video's and simple for now is better for me, I'll learn as I go. So please excuse my poor videographer skills I'm just starting out so they can only keep getting better right?, lol, anyway Thank you all for the fabulous comments, I really, really appreciate it!! Enjoy the video!
Here's a link to the Mini Envelope Tutorial:

Here is the link to the video for the mini hershey favor, now on this video I actually forgot to add the dsp to the front of the favor like I did for the hop, for the front I used a piece of dsp 1 3/8 x 2 3/4" and it is attached with snail to the front, (see the still pic) sorry about that, I'm still trying to figure this all out, lol.

Glitter Queens Hop Day 3 Favor Me Spooky
Hello Papercrafters,
Welcome to Day 3 of our Glitter Queen's Blog Hop! .....I can't believe it's already day 3, these hops always go by so fast, must be because there so much fun!
Today I have favors to share with you, I love Halloween and treat favors of all sorts are extremely popular for this spooky day, and since I still have school age children they are something my girls always want me to make and take to their school parties. I had a idea and decided to create a mini envelope then decorate it all spooky like and fill with candies....ok I love these little favors because not only are they super fun and easy to make, they are also super cute and hold several candies.
I am working a video showing how I created them and will be sharing that on Friday when I announce my blog candy winner!
But for now basically I just made a mini envelope starting with a piece of cs 5" x 5" and using the diagonal scoring plate score all sides at 2 1/4", then fold and using adhesive seal, I flipped the top flap to the back and attached a piece of ribbon with a staple. Then just decorate and fill! I used the 'Witches Brew'dsp and the 'Halloween Hello' & 'Halloween Bash' stamp sets, plus our new halloween glitter and 'Witches Brew' washi tape.
These favors are the small box that holds the mini hershey's candy bars.....I know they are a blast from the past, but they still remain a favorite to make and give so I decided to make an updated version with our current dsp and stamps, I created a band for them to close then I decorated the band and added some glitter....don't you just love that bat, the bat and the witch on the broom are my favorite stamps from that set.
And last but not least I have a cone shaped favor, once sealed they end up kind of flat but would still hold something like mints, jelly beans, jewelry or other small gifts. The picture show 2 sizes the larger cone is made with a 6" x 6" piece of dsp the small is made with a 4" x 4" piece.
I used the same dsp and stamp set as on the other favors. If you come back on friday I will have a video showing how I created all of the favors, so please come back on Friday!; you know you want to learn how there made :)
Don't forget I have BLOG CANDY! Follow my blog and leave a comment and you just might win the 'Halloween happiness' stamp! Winner will be announced on Friday!
Thank you so much for visiting and joining our GQ Blog Hop, I hope you were as inspired as I was! There will be another hop next month be sure to watch for the details!

Glitter Queen's Blog Hop Day 2- Halloween Cards
Welcome to day 2 of our Glitter Queens Hop! I'm so happy you've stopped by for day 2, I'm excited to see what the other GQ's have created for today..... I got so many great ideas from day 1, I can't wait to try them out......and of course every time we have a hop I see a project made with a tool, dsp, or something I don't have then I have to shop too!..... lol...
Today I have 2 cards to share with you both were created using the stamp sets 'Halloween Hello' & 'Halloween Bash' and the dsp 'Witches Brew' from the holiday mini.....
On my first card I also used the 'Witches Brew' washi tape, the washi tape is fun to use and can instantly step up a card, I began with a very vanilla base, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2, and randomly added the tape so it was peeking out from the edges of the label, I used the famelits die to cut out the label. I used black stazon to stamp out the witch and the label and I stamped the Halloween hello with versamark and heat embossed it with tangerine tango.
On the inside I stamped the image once in black then again in orange on a scrap piece and cut out the word creepy, popped it up and laid it over the stamped image.
For my second card I used summer starfruit for the base and layered on some 'Witches Brew' dsp, I stamped the spooky creatures onto vanilla and use a 1" punch to cut out, the image in the middle was layered up on the small scallop punch piece and I used a retired 3 way punch for the in between layer of black I felt like it needed. I had some left over googly eyes and thought they would be a great addition to the skeleton. I wanted to 'spooky' up the creepy crawly label so I did a zig zaggie cut at the bottom. I added some of SU's candy dots, love them!, to accent the corner.
And now let's talk about BLOG CANDY! :-) Follow my Blog and leave a comment on any or all of the hop days, each comment gives you a chance to WIN my Blog Candy.....On Friday I will randomly pick the Winner!...who will receive the 'Halloween Happiness' Stamp from the holiday mini, from me! So be sure to leave a comment!
Tomorrow I will be showcasing some Halloween Favors so be sure to come back and see all the goodies! Have a great day! Now off to Jan's Blog.....

Glitter Queens Blog Hop Day 1
Hello Papercrafters,
Welcome to Day 1 of our Glitter Queens Blog Hop! We are so excited to have you join us and we hope you enjoy all the fun, fabulous, Halloween creations we have to share........you should have just arrived from Jennifer's blog...don't you love what she has created, I'm so inspired!
For today's post I created 2- 12"x12", scrapbook pages, I used a combination of dsp, I love the candy shop page from the 'Witches Brew' dsp in the holiday mini, so I decided to separate the different elements on the page and use them to create a 2 page layout.
For the background I used some retired halloween dsp (although I believe they are available as a download for mds) and I arranged the cut apart elements from the candy shop sheet onto the backgrounds.
I created some spots for photos although I have not actually added any yet, I also used the 'Witches Brew' dsp for them and layered them onto black and gray cs and added a little accent on the corners with a white gel pen.
The candies were stamped from the 'Halloween Hello' stamp set from the holiday mini and I covered them with crystal effects so they would have the look of wrapped candy. I also used some orange rickrack and candy dots from the brights collection to enhance the image background.
And just for fun here's a photo of me and my girls hamming it up for Halloween a couple years ago....we were all dressed up as vampires, it was so fun!
Each day of the hop I will have different types of papercrafts to share...so be sure to come back every day plus if you follow me or become a follower and leave a comment you will be entered into the drawing for my BLOG CANDY!!! I will gather all comments during the hop and award the prize on Friday! Woo Hoo Free stuff! Tell your Friends too!, the more the merrier!
Thank you for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my projects for today and I hope you will stop by tomorrow, I have some cards to share!

Gumball Marina Muse Challenge
Hello Papercrafters,
I am back to share a new card I created this morning for a color challenge, the colors were; gumball green, marina mist and midnight muse. I didn't have the marina so I used island indigo instead. One of my favorite stamps is the maiden hair fern from the 'papaya collage' stamp set, so I decided to stamp the ferns in gumball green and stamp some flowers in the blues.....but in the process I decided to also do some green flowers. I love the way it turned out plus greens and blues together have always been a favorite color combo of mine. Here's the front
Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a wonderful day!
