Today as promised I am back with another Halloween greeting, I made a peekaboo window card, it's so cool, I used the 'Halloween Hello' stamp set, I thought the little flying witch would look cool in the little hidden window, after stamping her I used daubers to add a moon and night sky to her background.  For the card base I used black and I spritzed it with the shimmer spray, I love that glittery shimmer on Halloween goodies.  My dsp is from the 'Modern Medley' pack.....the prints in this pack work great for Halloween.    (If you would like to learn this peekaboo window technique I have a video posted on my blog on Oct. 21, 2013)

Here is the greeting:

The Halloween ticket and the greeting on the inside came from the 'Halloween Bash' stamp set.

I hope you liked my card, you should give this technique a try it's really very easy and fun!

Thanks for stopping by today....tell your friends about my share bundle offer, lot's of cool goodies and the chance  to Win Free Stamps!

Have a wonderful day,

Bats about You Reeses Treat Favor

Hello Papercrafters,

Happy Tuesday!  I hope your week is going well so far, we are still harvesting but I am fitting in a little crafting time before work and in the evenings.  Yesterday our weather cooled down a lot and I was cold all day, takes a bit to get used to when it comes in so quickly like that, although compared to the day before it was much nicer for working in, all in all I just want to get it done so I can work on the holidays.  So much to craft and so little time already, lol.

Today I have a video of my quick and easy Reeses treat favor, they would also hold the large peppermint patties or even 2 hersheys minis placed side by side, I love that they are really easy to make, they are also a great craft project for the kids. I still have 2 daughters in elementary school and we are making a bunch of these for them to take to their Halloween class parties.  These would be awesome for showers and parties of all types of occasions.   They can be made quickly and take a very small amount of supplies to create. ( I apologize for the lighting, I had to film the video at night)

You will get 3 from a sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" cs, then I just used scraps of cs and dsp to create the tags, then you'll just need some ribbon, a little glitter and some adhesive, it's mainly some cutting and stamping!

Enjoy the video!

Stampin'Up! is still celebrating their 25th Anniversary....there are new items on sale today at my SU shop check it out- http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/ItemList.aspx?categoryid=1634

Tomorrow I have a Halloween greeting with a peekaboo window!
Thank you for stopping by,

Have a wonderful day!

Witchie Halloween with pumpkin

Hello Papercrafters,

Happy Monday,  I can't believe how fast October is flying by,  Halloween will be here before you know it, so over the weekend I took my girls to town to do some costume shopping, my younger two are going to be Monster High ghouls, lol, and my teen is going to be working in a local haunted house as a zombie :)  Halloween is one of my favorite holidays,  I've never stopped liking to play dress-up, lol, I think the only time I didn't was for a couple of my teen years, ever since I always dress up,  Halloween is as much fun for adults as it is for kids, maybe more, lol.

This week I will be sharing Halloween projects, today I have a greeting card, on this greeting I added some glitter paper that I made myself!  I used the new glitter from the holiday mini and the heat and stick powder, oh my this is so cool, now I can make glitter paper in any color of glitter that I have, if you haven't tried this technique out yet you have to try it, it's easy and fun and you will love the results.

Here is my card:

To make the pumpkin I use a circle punch and an oval punch then pieced together, although I trimmed it a bit to make the pumpkin more slender, the stem was hand cut.

On the inside I used a sticker from some steampunk stickers I have........

Tomorrow I have a video to share featuring a favor, you will love these little favors, they are quick and easy and fun to make!  So be sure to stop by,

Thanks for stopping by today, have a wonderful spooky week, hehehe :)

Toxic Witch Greeting

Hello Papercrafters,

Happy Friday!  I am so happy the weekend is here, life is so busy lately that a little down time is much needed.  I'm currently working on some Halloween goodies and getting ready for a November Glitter Queens Hop- the theme will be Christmas and will be sometime the first week of November.

Today I have a quick share, I want to get back to my craft room while I have some time this morning.  I used some retired dsp and stamps to create this greeting, even though this stamp set is retired I still love it, the witch that I featured in this card is a favorite of mine.........today I ordered our new polymer set 'Bite me'.....I love the spider web in this set can't wait to try it out!

Here is my card:

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Fall Card with Peekaboo Slider Window

Hello Papercrafters,

Well I am a bit later than I had intended on being with this post, so my apologies, but according to my husband harvest has priority over my papercrafts, go figure lol, men just don't understand the importance cardmaking and blogging, :-)  while we are not completely finished with harvest one of the most exhausting jobs is done, the rest of the harvest will be part-time hours for me :-) so I will have time for my crafts and videos.  Yea, with the holidays coming up I have lots of crafting to do and share!

I did manage to get todays video made this morning, I uploaded while I was working, but I'm just now getting it posted before bed, where does the time go.  This video is of my peekaboo slider window card that I featured during the blog hop. (As I stated before this is a case of a card by Julie Davison) Thank you Julie!)

It's easier than it looks, I'm thinking of doing a Halloween version......how cute would it be having some spooky bat or witch or whatever behind the window,  yep going to try that!  :)

Here's a photo of the card:

I noticed that in the video I forgot to stamp the acorn on the tag that pulls out, you can see it in the above photo, sorry for that mistake, I'm still new to videography and make a lot of mistakes, lol, it's a learning process, thanks for you patience.

and  here is the video, Enjoy

Thank you for stopping by I hope you enjoyed the video, I will be back with another episode soon, so hurry back!

Have a great day.

Standing Fall Favor with Tab Handle

Hello Papercrafters,

Happy Wednesday!  I'm really looking forward to the end of this week, lol, because we should be done with all the raisin rolling, ugh, that is a really hard job and I'm so glad I don't have to do it every year.  We sell our raisins to Sun-Maid so if you like their raisins you may be eating some that we produced here on our little family farm.

I am back again with another favor video, this favor was one I shared during our blog hop, sorry it's taking me so long to share my tutorials but I have been so exhausted after working that even stamping is too hard, lol...........after dropping my girls at school this morning I came home and created this vid, got it uploaded and ready to view, on Friday I will be sharing a video featuring the slide card I created for the hop.....but for today here is a photo of the favor............

and here is the video..............Enjoy

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog, for anyone interested I have a holiday mini shares that will be available soon, I will have the details posted on Friday, this share package will be awesome, it will contain dsp, ribbons, and embellishments all from the mini! It's an excellent deal you won't want to miss.

Have a great day!

Standing Box Favor Fall themed

Hello Papercrafters,

Happy Monday!  The weekends go by way too fast but I had a great start to this Monday, after getting my girls off to school I came home and got one video done and uploaded!  I did make the effort to do them this weekend but went overtime on today's vid so I started over, after rolling raisins I'm too tired to get anything done, lol, and we are still not done, I can't wait till this job is completed, I was so sore and tired and in pain last week that I had to take a day to recover, lol, but now my body must be used to it, doing much better coping with it all.

For today I am sharing my standing box favor that I created for the hop, I will be sharing the other favors, my slide window card, and of course that really awesome tea candle combo card with box, the next video will be ready on Wednesday!

Glitter Queens Fall themed Blog Hop Day 3

Hello Papercrafters,

Welcome back to Day 3 of our Glitter Queens Fall Hop!  These hops always go by so fast but I love doing them so much, and I get so many great ideas.

For today I have a cool 3-d item that is a combo card, tea-candle holder and box, all in one, I think they are going to make fabulous gifts and I can't wait to make more.  I found a tutorial for them while surfing the web although now I cannot remember who the creator was :/ but I wrote down the instructions and made my version for fall.

I created the box with 'sweater weather' dsp, and the 'truly grateful' stamp set from the holiday mini, plus I used the autumn accents bigz, gold emboss powder and come candy dots.....I love the dots! :) plus I used a framelit from the 'labels' collection, the 'gorgeous grunge' stamp set and little leaves sizzlit.

After I assembled the box together I randomly rubbed versamark on the top then added gold embossing powder and heat embossed, after that I used some sandpaper to distress it a bit.

Once you open up the box you see the card/tea-candle holder, isn't it awesome, it's a gift and greeting all in one, it holds 3 tea-light candles, ( I got some really fragrant candles at our local 1.00 store)

I made a curly clip out of wire to hold the card front closed, the cute clips from our IBC would work great but I didn't have any......when you remove the clip it opens where there is room to add a sentiment or write a note.

I love 3-d projects and I think this one is fabulous, I hope you liked it too, I have a Christmas version in the design stage right now :)   For anyone interested I will be creating a video of this project with Christmas dsp, although it will be a couple weeks before it is ready.

Remember to follow and comment for a chance at the 'magnificent maple' stamp! Winners will be announced on Sunday!   I also want to invite you join me and hundreds of other card makers for the Operation Write Home Hop Saturday the 5th of Oct. Have a great day!

Now time to check out De's Blog......

For today I have some favors to share, I like creating them and they are great little gifts for teachers, co-workers, & friends. I used very vanilla cs for my base then used our burlap ribbon, 'sweater weather' dsp, and the autumn accents bigz to decorate them.

There was so much interest in the favors I made for the last hop that I have videos planned showing how I created these favors, hopefully I will have those ready next week.

Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you are enjoying the hop, don't forget to follow and leave a comment for a chance at some blog candy!  And now on to the next stop........

Glitter Queens Fall themed Hop Day One

Hello Papercrafters,

Welcome to Day One of our Glitter Queen's Blog Hop!  Our theme this month is Fall, and it's really beginning to feel that way around here, our weather has cooled down, a lot, which puts me in the mood for fall creations. I have something different planned for every day of the hop so be sure to come back for days 2 and 3!  Today I have two cards to share, I used several new items from the holiday mini to create them.

For my first card I used a base of very vanilla and then used the dsp 'sweater weather' to create the banner pieces, I added them to the base then stamped with versamark and the 'gorgeous grunge'  spotty stamp and heat embossed with gold.  To create the leaf I used the 'autumn accents' bigz sizzlet, then I carefully cute the corner leaf square then added a different pattern dsp to the back, it looks as if it was framed.  To embellish I added a little clip to the leaf piece and a 'in color boutique detail' to the corner.

On the inside I just added one of the autumn accents leaves.

I'm not sure why the color is so blue on this inside photo, because it really is very vanilla, just had a lighting problem, sorry about that.

For my second card I used a base of 'early expresso', I added some coordinating dsp from the 'sweater weather', then I added some of the burlap ribbon, the framed focal point was made with the 'peekaboo frames' bigz, (this item was carried over) then with some cs, stamping and a little glue and ribbon, a sliding window with a hidden sentiment is created........now I cannot take full credit for this, it was cased from Julie Davison and she said she saw a version at convention so thank you Julie..........but I did change it up a bit with my cs, dsp and the stamps, I love this and I can't wait to try some other versions :-)  I also used the 'autumn accents' bigz & the' truly grateful' stamp set.

If anyone is interested in seeing how this card was created I can create a video, just let me know in your comments!  Speaking of comments, if you follow my blog or start following and leave a comment during the hop Oct 2nd-4th you will be entered into the drawing for my blog candy!!! I have the 'magnificent maple' stamp ready and waiting for a winner, just in time for some fall projects!

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you enjoyed my cards, tomorrow I have some favors to share, hope you stop by.............De is next, hop on over and see what goodies she has for today!
