cQc #135 Challenge

Good morning Paper Crafters,

The month has only just begun, but looking ahead on my calender I see that it is going to be busy month. We are finishing up the softball season, party on the weekend for my youngest daughters team, we have the school carnival (I will be helping with the games), open house, and class parties and of course we will need teachers gifts because the last day of school is the 25th! Plus I will be participating in another Glitter Queens Hop on the 28th, 29th & 30th of the month.
I'm really looking forward to the break, probably more so than the girls, lol, they love school and always miss seeing their friends, but all the activity and being a taxi mom wears me out, I'm always perfectly content to stay home and be crafty.

Yesterday was fairly mellow around here, lol,  so I played around with this weeks cQc Challenge, it was an interesting palette, pool party is a favorite color of mine so I decided to use that for my background. When I was deciding what I was going to do I had a lightbulb moment, lol and thought it would look cool to use my crimper tool on the corners creating a type of frame, I love it! can't wait to try it again, anyway I used expresso on the edges and on the crimped areas, made them stand out . The stamped image on the pool party layer was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I'm pleased with the results this palette works nicely together, thanks for the challenge ColourQ!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Tamara
