Day 4 Festive October Blog Hop- Gift Card Holders

Hello Papercrafters,
Welcome to Day 4 of our Festive October Hop, I'm so glad you stopped by for todays share. When I learned that we would be making Gift Card Holders I thought oh good, that's something I've been wanting to cards have really become a popular gift item especially for the holidays, so what better than a fabulous holder to make it really special.

I love my simply scoring diagonal plate and decided to create an envelope out of dsp for my holders. I created a pocket inside to hold the gift card, so it doesn't fall all the way to the bottom of the envelope.  For the first one I used a band to hold it closed and attached the snowman image to the band, on the other side of the band I wrote to / from.

On my 2nd holder I created a tag that I attached to the front, the ribbon hanger at the top could be attached to a christmas tree hook and hung from the tree, on the other side I used buttons and twine to create a closing, simply wrap the twine around the green button.

I'm really pleased with the way they turned out, I have a couple of holiday fairs coming up and plan on making several for my booth, think I'll make some for the family too :)
I'm going to make a video showing how to make these, but that will have to wait till next week, helping my husband on the farm this week.

Thanks for stopping by, Have a great day!
